Accommodation
Our wedding will be hosted at Hayne Devon, Zeal Monachorum.
Please read all of the information below carefully.
We welcome everyone who wishes to spend the weekend together to stay at Hayne. The majority of accommodation will be well-appointed bell tents, there is more information below.
If you would prefer to book your own accommodation and stay nearby, that’s okay too. We understand there are many reasons why people may prefer this option.
Please provide details of your accommodation preferences when you RSVP.
All guests will need to arrange travel to and from the venue. We’ve provided more details on getting to Hayne Devon, when to arrive, and local taxi companies below.
Stay at Hayne
There is a range of accommodation available onsite. The majority of guests will stay in cosy, decorated bell tents with a proper mattress and bedding. There are also a small number of rooms and shepherd’s huts, that we will allocate, doing our best to ensure that everyone is as comfortable as possible.
There are shared hot showers and loos.
For ease, we will allocate accommodation for those choosing to stay onsite, and provide details after everyone has RSVP’d. You will receive an email with more details in April, and a request for payment.
Prices are reasonable, you can expect to pay approximately £80 - 150pp, inclusive of both nights and breakfasts. Please note that there is no reduction in price for single night stays.
You are also welcome to bring your own van or tent with pre-arrangement, for a modest pitch fee.

If you would prefer to stay nearby, please make your own arrangements.
Whilst it is peak season, Hayne is in a quiet corner of the world, and there are many options in the surrounding area for all budgets.
Please let us know when you RSVP if you would like to join us for the Friday evening meal and breakfasts at Hayne - you are most welcome.
Travel
Please make your own arrangements to and from the venue.
Hayne Devon is about 30 minutes drive from Exeter St David’s train station. Journey time to Exeter St David’s is 2hr15 from London Paddington, or 1hr from Bristol.
There are flights to Exeter or Bristol airports nearby.
There is parking for those driving, though it is limited. So please try and lift share where possible.
Guests are welcome to arrive from 3.00 PM on Friday, with evening food starting at 7.00 PM. Checkout is 11.00 AM on Sunday.
For those hoping to join on Saturday for the main event only, please aim to arrive at 1.00 PM and arrange collection from 9.00 PM - 12.00 AM.
